Shuvu's original mission 18 years ago was to provide high academic secular and religious education to newly arrived Russian immigrant children, to ensure their effective integration into Israel and help them become productive members of society.

Shuvu has succeeded and in the process created an unparalleled educational ethos across all its schools.  Shuvu schools achieve high educational standards through their teachers' dedication, warmth, understanding and concern for every student. In response to increasing demand from native Israeli families, who appreciate the advantages of Shuvu schools over Israel's public schools, Shuvu has expanded its operations beyond the Russian community to open schools in Kfar Saba, Bat Yam and more.

Today's Children and Youth, Tomorrow's Leaders

The Shuvu school and welfare network is fundamentally focused on investing in the potential of each and every one of its students. Following graduation from high school, male students typically go into the IDF, serving in elite units, before attending university and/or undertaking intensive Jewish studies in yeshiva. Shuvu graduates have become leading lights in the Israeli military and in the fields of Torah, law, medicine, education and hi-tech.  Read their Testimonials.

The Shuvu 'Road Map' to a Promising Future

7,000 children are enrolled in the Shuvu schools network, with 69 kindergartens, elementary, junior high and high schools in almost every Israeli town that has a sizable Russian immigrant community. A similar number of students enjoy Shuvu's other activities: summer camps, after-school programs, seminars, Bar and Bat Mitzva projects etc.
